Shalom, mishpochah! When we begin our walk of faith, many of us do so out of our utter need for a Savior, through circumstances in our lives. Then we learn to stay close to Him, not just in the hard times, but in the good times, too- to be thankful for all things, good and bad, in every part of each day. Even the trees, in their shroud of ice, pictured above, seem to reach toward the heavens, as God's creation has His stamp on it. By praying, being thankful in all our moments, stopping ourselves when we are not being loving to others, and being patient and commited to keeping His commandments, we are drawing nearer to holiness.
